I never once, not ever, made the honor roll in high school. I did receive an award for Top Ten Most Improved on two occasions but that's it. But, I wanted to congratulate those students who do indeed make the honor roll so I hosted a breakfast for all the students who made Principal's List (all grades above A with one A-) this past first quarter. About 35 students in all made the Principal's List so I was happy to get them all breakfast from Panera. I got the idea from my son's school who hosts a breakfast for kids who make High Honors (my son, alas, only made honors this quarter).
