Earlier this week in our theology classes, students wrote down what they are giving up for Lent, changes they wish to make, improvements to their prayer lives, etc. They wrote all this on crosses and they are hanging up on our Campus Ministry bulletin boards. My 5-year old son has more artistic ability than me so major kudos to our theology department for organizing this nice idea.
In addition, each student and staff member was given a wristband with the Lasallian motto "Live Jesus in our hearts...Forever!" This is our theme for Lent and the wristbands are a constant reminder to us to celebrate this Lent well as we prepare for Easter.
