To Haiti

For sometime now I have wanted to donate some old vestments we have in our chapel to the people of Haiti.  Whenever a priest comes to say Mass at Trinity, he brings his own vestments so we really didn't to hold on the ones we had.  I know many Haitian churches lost everything in the 2010 earthquake so I thought we should send these to them.  I will be mailing them today to the Apostolic Nuncio (the ambassador) to Haiti from the Holy See, Archbishop Bernardito Auza.  I hope and pray that while the vestments are humble, they may help priests as the say Holy Mass for the people of Haiti.
