Operation Gratitude

With our box full of thank you cards

Michael Toomey '14, the president of National Honor Society, has worked with an organization called Operation Gratitude.  Operation Gratitude helps send care packages our brave men and women serving in the military overseas.  They sent Michael about 500 blank cards to be inscribed and included with care packages.  On Sept. 11, our school community wrote notes of thanks to the soldiers and they will be sent back to Operation Gratitude to be distributed.  It was a simple way for us to observe Sept. 11, to honor the men and women who have served in Afghanistan and Iraq for over 12 years.
