I spent the 2001-2002 academic year at Moreau Seminary on the campus of the University Notre Dame discerning a vocation to the religious life. One thing I remember well is how important it was to hear from the folks at home and to know I wasn't forgotten.
So for many years we have tried to keep our seminarians in mind by sending them care packages. This year we are continuing that but focusing on two of our alums and our former theology teacher, Ms. Girard (now Sr. Clare Girard with the Dominican Sisters in Nashville, TN). Each month families will send care packages and prayers to Sr. Clare, Mike Sartori '06 and David Gagnon '11. Mike and David are seminarians for the Diocese of Manchester. Sr. Clare is one of 28 postulants (!!!!) with the Nashville Dominicans and Mike and David are two of 13 seminarians for the diocese.
Please keep these brave young men and woman in your prayers as they continue to discern God's will for them.
