Last month Natalie Carlson, a student at Central High School here in Manchester, passed away. I didn't know Natalie but many of our students did so we decided to have a Mass for her. We had the Mass today on the one month anniversary of her death and Father Richard Dion was our celebrant. The Mass was in our chapel and about 15 of her friends attended. Father Richard preached a beautiful homily on how life has changed, not ended for Natalie. He urged her friends to keep her alive and to remember how she loved, for that is how God is made known to us.
May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
