Pope Benedict and Trinity High School

In thinking about Pope Benedict XVI's resignation, I was thinking of our trip to Rome in 2011 with Archbishop Gerald Lacroix '75.  During that trip, all of the archbishops who received the pallium from the pope on June 29 were invited to a special audience with the pope on June 30 along with their guests.  Following the pope's remarks, each archbishop was able to say a few private words with the pope along with a guest.  Archbishop Lacroix brought his brother Yvan '76 up with him and Yvan presented the pope with a Trinity High School t-shirt!  The pope said "Oh beautiful" when it was presented to him.
