This Thursday, Father Bill DeBiase, OFM of Saint Francis Inn in Philadelphia will be flying into Manchester. On Friday Father Bill will be speaking with all the junior Theology classes (they study social justice) about his work in Philadelphia and his past work with the poor in Japan and with lepers in India. While in India, Father Bill worked with Mother Teresa. He is coming in on Friday as it's the eve of our annual Cardboard City event so we thought the two would tie in nicely. Father Bill will also celebrate Mass for the students who have volunteered at Saint Francis Inn the past two summers.
To prepare for Father Bill's visit, the juniors have been watching "We Have a Table For Four Ready." This is a 1995 film about Saint Francis Inn and the students that have seen it so far are fired up.
