Kairos

For the past few years, some of us have been talking about Trinity offering weekend retreats for students who want to deepen their faith.  We are excited that we will soon be offering Kairos retreats, a very popular retreat for high school and college students.

Last week Mrs. Photiadies P'14 and I visited a retreat center in Rindge, NH called Toah Nipi and we were both hooked. Mrs. Photiades has worked on many weekend retreats though her parish and said that this site would be perfect.  It has plenty of space, it is very comfortable, has tons of stuff for recreation and games, and it has breathtaking views of the mountains (the Wapack Range).

Our next step is to get the materials for Kairos.  My alma mater, BC High, has been doing Kairos retreats for years and has graciously offered to give us all the materials and to go over the process.  I am meeting with the Campus Minister there next week.
