This Sunday is Priesthood Sunday in the Diocese of Manchester. It is an opportunity for Catholics to thank priests for their service to God and His Church. Students in Mr. Carnevale's and Ms. Foley's theology classes are writing notes to every diocesan priest, both active and retired, to simply extend our school's thanks for all they do for the people of New Hampshire.
Along these lines, we are also sending a gift to Archbishop Gerald Lacroix '75, the archbishop of Quebec. This October is the 25th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood and we wanted to acknowledge this milestone. We are sending him the famous 15th century icon of the Trinity by Andrei Rublev as a reminder of his alma mater who prays for him so often and is so proud of him.
