Last week of course was Catholic Schools Week but I never had the chance to post about the last few days of events. On Wednesday, Feb. 3 we paid homage to our students by giving them a dress down day and free ice cream sundaes during lunch, personally scooped by teachers and administrators. Unfortunately I underestimated the amount of ice cream we would need and despite Mr. Gadecki running out in-between lunches to get more, we still ran out during the second lunch! I bought some more for the following day for the second lunch only. I also learned that students like vanilla much, much more than chocolate and they love whipped cream (we went through 12 cans!).
