Thanking the fathers

Over the past few years, the final Sunday in October in the Catholic Church has been known as Priesthood Sunday.  This Sunday is an opportunity for Catholics to thank our priests for their vocation and the many sacrifices they make to serve God and His people.

One of the small ways we at Trinity High School honor them is by sending every diocesan priest in the Diocese of Manchester a note thanking them for their vocation and for saying yes to God's call.  Over the past week or so, members of our our junior and senior classes have been composing the notes and we mailed them over the past couple of days.  I am grateful to Mr. Carnevale and Mr. Nunnaly of our theology department for coordinating this for me.
