Two years ago, Luke Testa '15 met two girls from Manchester Central and Bedford High Schools at a leadership conference. They all decided to start a non-profit organizaton called Project PLAY which collects used sports equipment for disadvantaged kids and also provides fincnaial assistance for sports registration fees. You may recall we held a used sports equipment drive at Trinity last month and raised tons and tons of stuff (so much that WMUR did a story on it).
Last week, NECN did a wonderful story on Project PLAY which you can watch below. I especially love Luke's quote about hoping to inspire other youth to engage in service and to know they have the power to make change. Yep, he gets it!
