This morning, members of our school community gathered in our chapel for Advent morning prayer. I was running late so we got a late start and I was only able to get Dunkin Donuts for the kids rather than the usual Top Donuts! But, we had a very nice group still join me.
We sang the second verse of "O Come, O Come Emmanuel", prayed excerpts from Isaiah 40:1-5, 9-11 (last Sunday's first reading) monastic style, offered intentions, and then a final prayer. It's always a nice way to start the day and look forward to our last Advent Morning Prayer a week from today at 7:30am in our chapel. All are welcome.
