Today in the Church we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, a day in which we remember the sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary prior to the resurrection of Her son. Today's feast has a special meaning to me as it is the patronal feast of the Congregation of Holy Cross. I spent the 2001-2002 academic year as a postulant with Holy Cross at the University of Notre Dame and it was undoubtedly one of the greatest years of my life. A blessed feast to all the men and women of Holy Cross.
In honor of Mary, our prayer today was the Hail Mary.
