Sisterly Visit

Today our former theology teacher, Clare Girard, visited Trinity High School.  Sr. Clare, as she is known now, is a postulant with the Dominican Sisters of Nashville, TN and was home this weekend visiting her family.  This July she enters the novitiate, receives her habit, and gets her religious name.  After one year she will taker temporary vows for three years and then, God willing, her perpetual vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.  She is heading back to Nashville today so she only had an hour to visit and she was MOBBED by kids and faculty alike, it was surreal.  She obviously made a huge impact on their lives and the smiles and hugs were incredible. She exuded so much happiness and said she has never been happier.

It was so good to see her but most especially to see the impact and witness she has made on our students.
