Public Policy Commission

Last week I was humbled to be appointed by Bishop Libasci to serve on the diocese's Public Policy Commission for a three-year term.  The commission, which is chaired by Trinity High School alumnus Meredith Cook '89, helps make recommendations to the bishop on positions on state and federal legislation and discusses ways to foster public understanding of the Church's teaching on social issues.

I take this as affirmation of the wonderful work by our students who embrace the Works of Mercy and help find ways to make Christ known to the wider world.  I am grateful to Bishop Libasci for his appointment and for the diocesan chancellor, Diane Murphy Quinlan P'11 and '14, for recommending me.
