Shortly after Mr. Gorski '58 passed away, we learned of the deaths of our former computer teacher Joanne Canavan and a former English teacher Michelle Cadorette. Many of our teachers were deeply saddened by these deaths coming so close together so we decided to have a prayer service after school yesterday. We prayed Psalm 86 which is read at Daytime Prayer in the Office for the Dead. We then heard a reading from Wisdom and then folks were free to share their thoughts and feelings on Stan, Joanne, and Michelle. I never worked with Joanne and Michelle but it was obvious that they touched many people and their deaths have been crushing to folks here.
May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
