Lucernarium

I spent the 2001-2002 academic year as a postulant (candidate) with the Congregation of Holy Cross at the University of Notre Dame.  Every Thursday night at 9pm in the seminary chapel we would have a prayer service called Lucernarium (Night Prayer in darkness).  Members of the university community would join us and after we would have a soiree in the recreation room.  I used to look forward to this wonderful opportunity for prayer and community every week.  

I thought it would be nice to do something similar here at Trinity so tomorrow night we will have our own Advent Lucernarium followed by a social in the cafe.  A number of students and Ms. Foley have been working on the music and I will lead the service.  It will begin at 7pm and will be held in the chapel.  All are welcome.
