Tonight we had our second Sunday Night Mass in our chapel. Despite the huge Patriots game, we had a nice crowd of 45 folks (our chapel's capacity is 60-65). Father John Bucchino, OFM, the pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Manchester, was our celebrant and nicely tied together today's gospel with the story and mission of the Franciscans, of which he is a member. He also talked about the newest saints canonized today by Pope Benedict XVI, especially the two Americans. The Pratte family again provided wonderful music and students were the servers and lectors.
Following Mass we had a nice dinner and fellowship in the cafe with chicken tenders from Golden Rod, a nice salad from Mrs. Photiades P'14 and amazing cookies from Mrs. Dufour P'14 and '16.
Our next Mass is November 18 at 5pm - all are welcome.
