Consistent Ethic of Life

This is just the back!  The middle and front seats were jammed too!

Yesterday Miss Girard's Mod G Theology class set up a fire brigade and helped pack up the Campus Ministry van with the Baby Shower items for Our Place.  The "van" is a decent size Suburban and was packed from front to back with baby items.  I drove them over to Our Place and they were blown away from the generosity of our students.  Our Place currently serves about 110 moms, 50 dads, and 125 kids providing them with social services, education, career counseling, etc.  It's such a great organization with just 4 full-time workers and 1 part-time nurse in their Nashua office.

I told our students that it's one thing for the Church to teach that abortion is wrong but She also walks the walk and helps those who do choose life, no matter the circumstance.  That's why it's so important to help organizations like Our Place - it gives hope and help to those who decide to not have an abortion. For the record, She also helps those who decide to go forward with abortions through an amazing organization called Project Rachel.
